  • If your child often has ear, nose, throat, or upper respiratory problems, you may have a ghost. Also, if your child if afraid to be alone in their bedroom at night or if they have imaginary friends.
  • A spirit may be present in a house if you are tired all the time, experience unexplained headaches, or lower intestinal problems. Another sign is if you feel better when you are not in your own home.
  • If items such as jewelry, money, bills, and keys are moved, it may be the work of a ghost.
  • A pet might be afraid to go into a certain part if the house, and may bark or growl at nothing -- nothing that you can see.
  • Electrical or plumbing problems may be a sign. Televisions, computers, or portable phones working intermittently are common signals.
  • If doors slam on their own, or footsteps are heard in a part of the house that is supposed to be empty, it may be a ghost.
  • Feeling like you are being watched may also tell you if a spirit is present. While sleeping, many people have felt as if someone has sat on the bed with them, but no one else is home.
  • Hearing talking or whispering when no one else is home with you, or catching a shadow out of the corner of your eye is also a sign that you are not alone.
